Mumabi, May 16 -- He may have been an ardent cricket fan but Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan has now shifted loyalties to soccer after an overdose of the gentleman's game.
The 40-year-old actor has cricket in his genes, with his father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and grand father Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi being former Indian team captains.
But the star, seems to have got bored of the game now. "Cricket is happening 365 days a year. I am more interested in soccer now. The football World Cup is just a month away and I am looking forward to it," says Saif.

When asked what he had to say about India's dismal performance at the T-20 World Cup 2010, he says, "I don't think I'm the right person to say anything." The actor is all set to start shooting his second home production Agent Vinod this May and hopes to release it next March. He pairs up with girlfriend-actress Kareena Kapoor in the movie, that will be the couple's third after Tashan and Kurbaan. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the thriller will be shot across Europe, Delhi, Morocco. The pre-climax will be filmed in Pakistan. The film is Khan's second home production after the Imtiaz Ali directed Love Aaj Kal, with Deepika Padukone. The film was one of the 10 big commercial successes of 2009.
